Product Usage

Maleic anhydride is a chemical substance with the chemical formula C4H2O3 that is cyclic dicarboxylic in nature and obtained via the removal of all water molecules from its structure. Maleic anhydride is generally a very reactive chemical intermediate that is used in almost every field of industrial chemistry. It is an anhydride, colorless, and used to produce resins and lubricant additives that are vital substances used for corrosion prevention.

Product characteristics

1. It should be kept in a dry and cool place. It is a corrosive material and it should be stored in a separated safety storage cabinet or room, keep away from sources of ignition.

2. It is mainly used in production of unsaturated polyester resin. It is also used in coating, pharmacenties, agricultural insecticide, additives of oil products and plastics, surfactant, etc. It also can be used in production of 1, 4-butanediol, etc.
