Plasticizer
Dioctyl adipate (DOA) is a commonly used linear ester plasticizer with excellent low-temperature properties and high flexibility, commonly used in flexible plastics and rubber products, especially in applications requiring flexibility, transparency, and cold resistance. It is primarily used to plasticize polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other polymeric materials.

Used in PVC,polyethylene copolymer, polystyrene cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose and synthetic rubber as a typical cold plasticizer.
Insoluble in water, soluble in chloroform, gasoline, ethyl acetate, methanol, toluene, mineral oil, vegetable oil and other organic solvents.
DOA has excellent cold resistance due to its chemical structure, which maintains the flexibility and transparency of the plastic at low temperatures, and is widely used in products that require low temperature resistance, such as cold storage films and refrigerator seals.
DOA has good compatibility with a variety of polymers such as PVC, rubber, etc., which can enhance the processing performance of the material and the softness of the final product.
DOA has a significant plasticizing effect, can improve the flexibility, wear resistance and service life of plastic products, commonly used in films, hoses, sealing strips and other flexible products.
DOA does not belong to phthalate plasticizers, with low toxicity and environmental impact, in line with the environmental regulations of many countries, suitable for the need for environmentally friendly materials in the field, such as food packaging, toys and so on.
